Some facts:
- The forum started with 6 non-Unit 4 employed community members in the audience; ended with 12
- The video was not available live, but is being rebroadcast at 4:pm for a few days on CGTV 5
- The video is now available for on-demand viewing at the Unit 4 Vimeo site (I will syndicate it soon in a smaller size)
- Meg Dickinson has two NG articles (before the forum, after the forum)
Some questions:
- If the population were really serious about this “race”, where would they go to learn more about each candidate and size them up?
- Where is the debate? Do folks not care, or is it that folks do care, but are rather busy at the moment?
I’ll provide more feedback once I watch the video.
Your turn for questions/comments/observations.

Was this the only forum being held? The evening before many people headed off somewhere for spring break was not ideal timing. There were parent-teacher conferences going on at least one school that early evening, also. Personally, I couldn’t go that evening and then be able to (health-wise) drive my kids a distance the next evening for their every-other-weekend thing. I will watch it and have questions. Can candidates answer questions online if people have them? And I don’t mean just directly to the person asking them, but, rather publicly displayed exchanges so others can view the candidates’ answers to questions.

Maybe Charles can provide opportunities for candidates to post responses to questions that citizens post on this blog, aka N-G questionnaire with more expansive questions and citizen provided.
As I keep mentioning, the upcoming new board will be deciding a lot of very expensive financial decisions that will affect the taypayers to a very large sum, potentially, not only in 2014, but also 2016. Along with what taxpayers are already contributing to Unit 4 via the 1% sales tax, WCB, and property taxes.
